One of Many Napkin Doodles...

I've been on a Golden Axe/Altered Beast kick for the past two weeks. It finally came to a head when I finalized the design of a character that I wanted to pay homage to those precious childhood memories of mine.

I call him Baaldonis. I wanted something "demonic" and "homoerotic" in his name. I haven't figured out a complete story behind him. He'll be inserted somewhere into the Colskar story world.

I hope everyone's holidays went well. I came back from visiting family with news of me apparently being fatter than I was last year, a groomsman in my brother's wedding in 2011, and finding out my possibly gay nephew wants to be a model.

Anyhow...

Nutcracker SWEET!: the Rat King

Here's a page out of my sketchbook, a "Demon" to contrast the dude saturated posts I have so far.

This is the Ambrosius Vermin, the sorcerer rat king who terrorizes the home world of the nutcracker soldier (let's call him Hilderic). He commands an army of heavily armored rat men, and swarms of cockroaches and fleas.

I drew from some personal influences, mainly the Skeksis from the Dark Crystal. There's also some Vlad the Impaler and Ivan the Terrible in there. To accentuate his prominence as a plague bringer, I thought of giving him shoulder pads of gas masks, old and new.

Later, I intend to give him a more comely appearance to try and seduce the "Clara" character into his service.

Also, I've been chatting with some of you about Christmas ideas, trying to get out of the "Santa Claus" box, and I'd love to hear any input you guys may have. Maybe a sexy Zwarte Piet or Krampus perhaps?

Nutcracker SWEET!

In the spirit of the season (again) I'm doing more holiday themed boys. I have yet to figure out a name for this guy, but I already have a story about him, which happens whenever a new character emerges in my mind. Santa Clause and his elves are done ad nauseum when the holidays roll around. I figured doing a sexy nutcracker soldier would be a much more well received entry.

Much like the ballet, the Nutcracker Suite, the story will center around a young person and the gift of a nutcracker soldier for Christmas. My friend Matt, who is a theatre student out in Ontario, has been having some difficult times in his university classes, so I figured a character much like him would be the "Clara" of this story. He happens upon this handsome nutcracker soldier, bruised and broken. After mending him and turning in for the night, the soldier becomes flesh and whisks him away to his world where the sorcerer rat king, Ambrosius Vermin, has laid siege to the land and turned it into a plague stricken wasteland....

I'll go into details later. My brain is numb.

So it Begins

I've finally collapsed. I gave in to making a NSFW blog to post my porn and silly comics for my fans. Like many others, I've grown tired of online art communities and I will find it more fulfilling to put my stuff up on here for people to admire and admonish.
